As you dig in and examine the events around Anderson Aldrich and his family, you discover a history of mental illness and tendency for violent reactions.

His mother had him arrested for a bomb threat on her life and sought help in dealing with her son's condition(s).

We also know of Anderson's mental illness through a neighbor's account of interactions over the years.

So, what is totally clear is...
the system failed
and
law enforcement failed!

There was (yet, again) enough previous events, arrests and signs of mental illness and drug abuse to paint a BIG RED flag, but laws were ignored, policies and procedures, ignored. Why?...

There is of yet (in my brief research) no sign of this being a MK-Ultra or FBI involved operation, but time has a way of bringing more details to the surface. What we know so far, causes me to lean that direction.
